This article, without any major theoretical pretentions, attempts to present three philosophical coordinates about the modern subject who assumed the consequences of the debate on modernity/postmodernity from Latin America and Chile. Pablo Oyarzún, Martín Hopenhayn and Eduardo Sabrovsky, represent an attempt to critically understand this situation in the historical perspective of contemporary philosophy.
