Call for papers. Special Issue - "Hobbes: Science and Politics"
Scholars working on modern thought are invited to submit articles for a dossier devoted to the various relations between science and politics in the philosophy of Thomas Hobbes. The dossier seeks to bring together contributions that examine the different ways in which this problem is articulated in Hobbes’s work, as well as its place within the intellectual debates of the seventeenth century and its subsequent reception.
Submissions are welcome from the history of philosophy, the history of science, political philosophy, epistemology, and related fields.
Guest editors: Juan Vicente Cortés, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, and Nicolás Lema Habash, Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
