Abstract

The 40th anniversary of Pope Paul VI's letter Humanae Vitae opens for us the opportunity to meditate once again about the relationship between liberty and human nature as a condition for the construction of a desirable human plenitude. The Pope reminds us how an arbitrary use of our sexuality, triggered by the massive consumption of contraceptive devices, can deeply damage our nature, and how the use of this sexuality inside a marriage for life; open to the procreation of new lives, constitutes the true road to our own fulfillment.
